Holly-Hunter

Holly Hunter was an American actor who was famous due to her roles in films Broadcast News The Firm The Piano The Incredibles. Her film Piano won her an Oscar. At a young age, the accomplished actress began playing on stage for various Broadway or Off-Broadway productions. The actress has had a passion for acting ever since she was in high school. Her debut role in a play in fifth grade was in Helen Keller. In the fifth grade, due to mumps, she lost her hearing in the left ear. She did not let it stop her from performing. In her early years, she studied drama in college and moved to New York City from Pittsburgh in order to follow her dreams. She was introduced to Beth Henley in an elevator and they worked together on Broadway Crimes of the Heart which was Hunter's debut film. Her first film role came when she moved to Los Angeles. Since her time in Los Angeles, Holly Hunter has been involved in numerous television movies and series. Holly Hunter is a Hollywood Walk of Fame famous person as well as a winner of the Women in Film Lucy Award.
